Seventeen Italian jewelry manufacturers brought their wares to the United States for a two-day show this week.
The fourth edition of the Italian Jewelry Exhibit "Oroarezzo NY 2004" took place at the Waldorf Astoria Tuesday and Wednesday. Organized by the Italian Trade Commission, the invitation-only show was open to wholesalers and featured companies that do not participate in any of the jewelry shows in the United States that feature international designers.
The vendors offered a diverse selection of goods, from trendy stainless steel and silver jewelry targeting younger consumers, to higher-end gold jewelry and chains. Other popular themes were cross pendants and all types of baby jewelry. Almost all exhibitors offered some take on the ever-popular charm bracelet, many of which included enamel charms.
The participants all show their goods at the Oroarezzo show in Arezzo, Italy. The 2005 show will take place April 9-13. For more information, visit: www.oroarezzo.it or www.italtrade.com
